Some *2S4Y* Cards and Fab News!

I just thought I would share these cards I made for the latest 2 Sketches 4 You Design Team Call…
I had a lot of fun with these, and I guess it paid off because I was fortunate enough to be chosen as one of the Winter 2009 Design Team members! Yippeee!!! Ok…. I realize that the majority of you knew this already since the announcement was made yesterday, but I wanted to share my cards, and I couldn’t leave out the story, so… indulge me… Lol!

I have been playing with 2 Sketches 4 You since July of this year, but I had been stalking the weekly challenges since long before that when I discovered them on Savitri’s blog. Well, I look up to my girl Savitri as a designer so much, and as it turned out, 2S4Y also became a group that I admired greatly. I saw them as the creme de la creme. So, you can see why this fab news is really quite exciting for me, and a bit surreal. I’m so grateful to have this opportunity. And have you seen the other new members??? Woah! What an honor this all is! Thanks so much for your support!

question what punch or die cut did you use for the 1st card?? the one that looks like a top note die…the one in the center with puched out using a circle punch? i love that. do share!!

The die shape in the center of the kraft card is actually a shape that I traced & cut out from a bulletin at my church!
I saw that bulletin and was DROOLING over the graphics entailed in it. So I used it as a template. That’s what any of us would do, right?
Gotta keep those eyes peeled for inspiration!

Girlie, this is FABBY!!!! I saw the annoucement on FB but just gotten the time to come here in person today. This is AWESOME and so sweet of you to tell a bit of story and now you’re in that team. You will LOVE it! It’s my most favorite DT ever. They make it so fun and inviting!!!! I can’t wait to see what you gals come up with. I plan on playing more regularly too! Been a bit sporadic with my 2S4Y participation!! It’s funny, you said you you look up to me but uhm uhm, I look up to you. You’re one awesome piece of inspiration and a fabby person!! The part I don’t like about you is that you’re only 25. Oh wait, I’m 25 too, ha!
