****Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.****
Hey y’all! (It’s me now… lol!)
If you can’t tell, this post (above) was written by my Syd. She really loves playing with crafts, and so I thought I’d let her have complete control with this challenge. As she mentioned, I wasn’t quite ready to let her take over the paper trimmer yet, but everything else was all her!
I bet she and M would have a ball together.
Check out the post of M’s challenge here.
The DEETS for SYD’S CARD: Card Stock (Papertrey Ink – New Leaf) | Patterned Paper (American Crafts – Junior) | Stamps (Martha Stewart – Baby Boy, Inkadinkado - Sentiment) | Ink (Papertrey Ink – Enchanted Evening, Martha Stewart – Ocean & Dusk Blue) | Ribbon (Papertrey Ink – New Leaf)

And lastly…. Tomorrow is my little man’s birthday… o. m. g.

It’s hard to believe he’s 2 already. I’m so proud of him. I’m so surprised at how well we have bonded, but so grateful. When we found out we were having a boy Sydney was 3, and to be honest, I wasn’t all that excited. All I had to go by (for the most part) were the little 3-year-old boys in Sydney’s class, and they were little terrors. Lol… They made me glad I had a little girl.
But you know what? The amazing part is that as different as Sie is from his sister, there are so many countless reasons that I love him, each one unique to him. For instance, he smiles instantly when we catch each other’s eye, his cheeks are as soft as clouds, he loves football, he eats all of my cooking, and his days always start off with a giggle and a “Heeeyyyy!”
Some more things about my little Sie:
-
He eats things off the floor and from the trash can. What? He’s sneaky! And fast!.
-
He falls and scrapes his knee only to yell at the pavement. Super tought guy.
-
He climbs on furniture and stands on his tip toes and jumps!
-
He rearranges furniture in the house, but he almost always puts it back.
-
He hates to wear shoes and comes home from school with at least one shoe in hand.
-
He LOVES to eat. Everything.
-
He has trouble making the “S” sound. Hence, “Didney” instead of “Sydney.” Lol…
-
He loves the Barney song, but has never seen that show in his life.
-
He highly prefers to play outside, and most of all…
-
He LOVES cars.

Well I’m off to make a list so I don’t forget anything for his party tomorrow! Here are some pics I snapped today when we had cupcakes with his classmates in celebration of his big day:

Have a great weekend!
*Hugs & Love*

Sydney… what a clever little girl you are. You’re card is GORGEOUS.
Sarah… what a BEAUTIFUL photo of you and your little man Sie!!! He’s such a cutie. Your list of things he loves made me giggle. It’s good to know that my little Ella (13mths) isn’t the only one who loves the song of something she’s never seen… “Dorothy the Dinosaur”… so much so it was actually one of the first words she said…. hmmmmm… perhaps she sneaks out of her cot at night!!!!! hahaha.
HOpe Sie has a wonderful birthday and gets to eat lots of yummy cake.
xx Sarah

Sarah, it was so great to see pictures of your little boy! He is so handsome! I have two little brothers so I know first hand how great little boys can be. Even though they can be a handful at times, the joy, laughter and love they bring to the family is so worth it.
